School Opening Times: Our school day starts at 09.10a.m. Junior & Senior Infants go home at 1.50p.m. - while the children in 1st class to 6th class go home at 2.50p.m.
Tidy Towns Competition 2017: We are delighted with the fact that our school got a special mention in this years Tidy Towns competition for the way it is being maintained and the tremendous work that is being done on environmental matters at our school. Our very impressive collection of Green Flags was also noted.
Aladdin is a new computerised system of returning data to the Department. This includes our daily roll call. Roll call will be called at 10.30a.m. If a child is not present at this time, he/she will be marked absent -once this is logged in, it can't be changed.
History Trip: 5th & 6th will be going on a history trip to Dysert O’Dea Castle in Corofin on Thursday 12th October. The event will take place in Corofin from 10.00am to 2.30pm.
Witches' Walk: We will hold our Witches Walk before our Midterm break. Your support in this event is really appreciated and allows us to raise funds to offer and subsidise different activities with the children.
Primary Language Curriculum: The Department of Education has informed us that school will be closed on Friday November 17th as all teachers will be attending a professional development day on the New Primary Language Curriculum.
Our Parent / Teacher meeting will take place on Friday 24th November.
Our Christmas concert will take place on Tuesday 19th December, in the Community Centre at 7pm. All children in the school will take part.
Sacraments: Confirmation will take place on Friday February 23rd at 3p.m.
First Holy Communion will take place on Saturday May 19th at 11.00a.m.
